At the University of California Center for Ecosystem Climate Solutions, we are currently conducting research on how wildlands in California are managed. We are very interested in how you view wildlands management in California and ask that you help us by filling out our survey. The survey contains 5 sections and should not take more than 30 minutes to complete.
Participation is completely voluntary. You may refuse to participate in this study as well as change your mind and withdraw your participation at any point after the study has started. There are no specific risks or direct personal benefits attached to your participation in this study, nor will there be any additional costs to you beyond the time and effort required to take the survey.
All information you chose to give us will be kept strictly confidential. We can not guarantee absolute confidentiality, as research documents are not protected from subpoenas and all research carries some risk that confidentiality could be compromised. However, we will take extreme precautions to ensure the confidentiality of your data. No information that could be used to identify you will be handled by anyone outside our research team, and all personal identifiers will be removed from the data in the event that it is shared outside the research group. Once all personal identifiers have been removed from the data, there is no longer any way the data could be connected to you and your data could be used in other research studies and shared with other researchers without additional informed consent from you or your legally authorized representative.
