The On-the-Spot Recognition Program helps NS Managers and Staff give immediate and spontaneous appreciation and recognition. Giving an On-the-Spot gift card is a great way to say thank you to fellow colleagues and recognize excellent work. Anyone can give an on-the-spot award even if they’re not the supervisor. 

How to Give On-The-Spot Recognition

1. Acknowledge an action/attitude that you would like to recognize.

2. Fill out and submit  On-The-Spot Recognition Form.

3. Assistant Dean will email the nominator to pick up the gift card or a virtual gift card will be ordered and sent via email. 

4. Write a thank-you note to the person you are recognizing. 

5. RECOGNIZE! Deliver to the person you are recognizing.

* Per policy, total staff award amount can not exceed $75 in a calendar year.
